Polyproplene

What is Polyproplene?

Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer, an important member of the polymer family and widely used worldwide. It is obtained by polymerization of propylene monomers and is used in many different industries. Polypropylene is known for its durability, light weight and chemical resistance.

Polypropylene is impact resistant and flexible. It is also preferred for products exposed to heat thanks to its resistance to high temperatures.

It is highly resistant to acids, bases and organic solvents, which is why it is widely used in the chemical industry for vessels and pipes.

Polypropylene is among the recyclable and sustainable plastic solutions.

Packaging: Bottle caps, packaging films and various food containers.
