PP-C
Product Description
Polypropylene Copolymer (PP-C) is a flexible and durable type of polypropylene with higher impact strength than polypropylene homopolymer (PP-H). Produced by adding monomers such as ethylene, PP-C is softer and more resistant to cracking. Thanks to its lack of brittleness even at low temperatures, it is widely used in applications such as food packaging, pipes, injection molding parts, transport containers, medical equipment and chemical storage tanks.
PP-C stands out with its high resistance to chemicals, low moisture absorption and flexibility. Its ability to be easily shaped by injection and extrusion processes offers a wide range of uses in different sectors. Its lightweight structure, recyclability and low cost make PP-C an environmentally friendly and economical option.
Subspecies
Random Copolymer Polypropylene: Formed by random polymerization of polypropylene with low amounts of ethylene. It is more flexible and transparent.
Block Copolymer Polypropylene: It is obtained by arranging ethylene and propylene in blocks. It has high impact resistance.
