Product Features
HIPS provides higher impact resistance than traditional polystyrene. It can be easily molded and used in various production processes as a low-cost material. It is often preferred in decorative applications thanks to its surface suitable for painting, gluing and printing. Its heat resistance is at medium level, but its chemical resistance is limited. The matte structure and impact resistance of its surface make it suitable for applications requiring durability.
HIPS is used in a wide range of applications such as electronic appliance housings, TV cases, toys, appliance interior parts, food packaging, billboards, display stands and disposable containers. It is also ideal for vacuum forming and injection molding processes.
